- Worked on NS2 to simulate an improved version of AODV Routing Protocol for MANETS. Thesis: Mobile ad-hoc Networks are getting popular day by day.
MANETS consist of several mobile devices without an access point. The main downfall of MANETS is their security.
With day by day increase in use of mobile devices it is very important for routing protocols to be secure and sound.
Paper published: Security Enhancements in AODV for Improved Performance and Efficiency.
Dissertation Project: Improving Performance And Security For AODV Routing Protocol In MANETs.
- Developed an implementation model for the well known Maekawa's voting algorithm. Thesis: Maekawa's algorithm is used for mutual exclusion in distributed systems.
The model implements the algorithm wherein sites compete within a request set to execute their critical sections.
